• Gallon size – professional coverage: Supplied in a full 1-gallon container, this solution is intended for shop and industrial use. Coverage will vary depending on part size, rust severity, and application method (brush, soak, or dip).
• Designed for iron and steel: Formulated to remove rust from iron and steel surfaces. Not intended for aluminum, stainless steel, or non-ferrous metals.
• Surface preparation matters: Before application, remove oil, grease, paint, lacquer, and wax. Loose rust should be removed with a wire brush or abrasive to improve effectiveness.
• Two usage methods – rinse depends on application:
  • Rust removal: Allow solution to work for several minutes, then rinse thoroughly with clean water to stop the action.
  • Pre-paint primer: Soak or treat until rust is removed, then do NOT rinse. Allow the surface to air dry completely before painting.
• Typical reaction time: Light rust may be removed within 5 minutes. Heavier rust may require additional dwell time or repeated applications depending on severity.
